Color Design

PocketBud will be shades of pink, purple, and green. These should be utilized in all assists that are used in the app

Art

Flowers and icons will be designed by LeeAnn. These designs should be ‘cute’ and drawn in color, bold shades. The flowers will need to have different stages to show levels of success.

App Functionality & Customizing Categories

Giles will be implementing this. The categories need to be added with the option for preset names, custom names, budget amounts, and custom colors Additions of

Expenses

Giles will be implementing this. The expenses need to be added with spending totals, link to preset categories, and keep track of a total amounts spent and available

Virtual Garden

Ginger and Judy will be implementing this but must wait until Giles’ part is complete. The garden must let the user access an easy-to-use market, choose a flower to place, and have flowers dynamically change according to budget reports.

LeeAnn has presented her first round of art and Giles has completed his first version of the category and expense pages. Both of these are stable enough for the rest of the app to be designed; any updates for error-checking and aesthetics will be implemented after the app is in a decent running state.

Ginger and Judy have successfully integrated their virtual garden page with both Giles’ numbers and LeeAnn’s art. The app is functioning as it should (when used by us) but has little to no error-checking, causing occasional crashing. This will be fixed this week before the app is sent out for user feedback this week.

The app was in a stable state! After gathering user feedback, we've identified the need for improvements in the category pages of our budgeting app. Users have suggested different design choices for these pages. In this A/B test, we determined which design variation results in a better user experience.

It's an exciting week for us as we gear up for our presentation! Throughout this week, we've collaborated closely to prepare and showcase PocketBud, putting in a lot of hard work and dedication into our project.
